2026 Summer Programs

Each summer, we welcome children and families into our summer program. We strive to provide care for current before & after school families, as well as those joining us for the summer only! This year, we’re excited to expand our summer offerings. Along with school age programming in Raymond and Windham, we’ll also be offering summer-only care for four year old’s at two locations, providing every child positive and accessible experiences
that nurture development. 

Enrollment Information

Registration dates for summer programming are as follows:

  • Current families seeking full time care (4+ days a week) – March 9, 2026 8:00am
  • Current families seeking part-time care (2+ days a week) – March 12, 2026 8:00am
  • New families (2+ days) – March 16, 2026 8:00am

One-Time Activity Fee

This activity fee functions as a non-refundable deposit, and is based on the final costs of bussing and field trips.

Payment Information

Please note, all current outstanding balances must be fully paid in order upon registration
for summer.

We are proud to partner with the Child Care Affordability Program and acknowledge that there is a lengthy waitlist for this program. If your family has applied for and been placed on the waitlist for CCAP, please be in touch as we have limited scholarship funding available.

Schedules & Registration Details

Anticipated opening: Monday, June 22, 2026
*Please expect a maximum of two business days (not including the Juneteenth holiday) between the last day of school for RSU14, and the first day of summer programs. These days allow staff to transition materials and prepare for a fun-filled summer!

Anticipated closing: August 21, 2026
*Subject to change based on RSU-14 26/27 calendar and facilities availability.

All Space to Thrive programs are closed for the last full week prior to the start of the school year for professional development.

Hours
Summer SACC (Windham & Raymond): 7:00am – 5:30 pm
Summer Fours & Fives (Pope Road): 7:00am – 5:00pm

Enrollment is required for the full duration of the summer program. Schedules can be 2, 3, 4, or 5 days per week, as long as they are consistent across the summer. Priority registration is available for full time (4 or 5 days per week) schedules, but we do our best to accommodate part time schedules (2 or 3 days per week) if space allows.

We do not provide refunds or discounts for absences.

Field Trips & Activities

Each site plans a jam-packed curriculum of enriching activities and exciting themes. Some of these activities may include off-site field trips, walking field trips, on-site guests or featured special events, and more!

Our Summer Fours & Fives program will be an outdoor, nature-based program specifically for PreK and Kindergarten age children. The curriculum will support nature exploration, building confidence and social skills, and encouraging creative play. Children will be outdoors the majority of the day!

Staff & Safety

Our dedicated team of Space to Thrive staff that you know and love will be caring for your children this summer! We are incredibly fortunate to have talented and experienced educators who work hard to make the summer fun and safe.

All staff are CPR and First Aid Certified, and Water Safety Certified. For swimming field trips, we bring buoys to clearly designate our water area, and conduct “swim tests” to allow swimming without a life jacket. Additionally, we have multiple certified lifeguards on staff, and we do not attend any water field trip without at least one lifeguard. requirements set by Child Care Licensing. Most of our staff are Water Safety Certified, and we have multiple certified lifeguards on staff. We will not attend any water field trip without at least one lifeguard.

Staff to child ratios for Summer SACC are 1:13. During field trips, we staff for at least a 1:10 ratio, and bring additional staff to support whenever off site.
