About Us
About Space to Thrive
Space to Thrive represents our expanded vision to nurture children at every stage of development. As a local non-profit organization serving the Windham and Raymond communities in Maine, we combine excellence in care with genuine compassion across two complementary programs:
Our Programs
School Aged Child Care (SACC) – Our established program providing comprehensive care for school-aged children including:
- Before and after school programs
- Full-day care during school closures
- Vacation week programming
- Engaging summer activities
Early Childhood Education (ECE) – Our newest initiative designed specifically for our youngest community members from newborns through pre-K, offering developmentally appropriate care and early learning experiences.
Our Commitment
We understand the challenges working parents face, which is why we’ve expanded our services to support families with children of all ages. Whether your child is taking their first steps or navigating elementary school, our dedicated staff creates environments where they can develop, connect, and grow.
Our Approach
We believe in creating spaces where all children feel safe, valued, and inspired. Our experienced educators are committed to nurturing the whole child—supporting physical health, emotional wellbeing, and cognitive development through age-appropriate, intentional programming and meaningful relationships.
Our Impact
When families choose Space to Thrive, they’re joining a community that values each child’s unique journey from infancy through school age. Parents gain peace of mind knowing their children are in capable, caring hands, while children discover new interests, build lasting friendships, and develop essential life skills that serve as a foundation for future success.
Every day, we work to fulfill our mission: ensuring every child thrives.
